This campaign is being organized by Rovio Entertainment Corporation, with an address at Keilaranta 7, 02150 Espoo, Finland (“Rovio”, “we”). By participating in the campaign, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these campaign rules as well as our social media code of conduct (“Rules”).
Campaign Period
The submission period starts on April 11, 2024, at 00:00 UTC, and concludes on May 2, 2024, at 00:00 UTC. The semifinalists will be selected, and the public voting commences between May 8, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to May 24, 2024, at 00:00 UTC. The winners will be announced on May 31, 2024, at 00:00 UTC.
Prizes and Number of Winners
By participating in the contest as outlined below, you’ll have the opportunity to win in-game items and merchandise for Angry Birds 2. All winners and runner-ups will receive the following rewards:
8 Winners (approximate total value is USD 200)
- Your designed Hat (or any hat of your choice from the Fan-omenon Hat Set)
- 3,000 Gems
- 20,000 Rainbow Feathers
- Merchandise Pack or additional in-game currency*

*Due to shipping restrictions, only participants from certain countries are eligible to receive the Merchandise Pack when winning. In case we are not able to ship the products to you, you will instead receive additional in-game rewards in the corresponding value of the Merchandise Pack. You may also freely choose to receive the in-game items even if shipping is available.
Shipping is available to the following countries: Aland Island, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain (incl. Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales), Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain and United States of America.
The Merchandise Pack will be delivered to the winners home address.
Please note that the prizes are personal and cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for money.
Who Can Participate
To be eligible to participate, you need to be at least 18 years old. You also need to have downloaded the Angry Birds 2 game (iOS, Android) in order to participate, redeem and use the in-game items.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited.
How to Participate
You can participate in the contest by submitting your original hat design(s) based on the theme “Fan-omenon” through the Angry Birds 2 9th Anniversary Community Hat Set page. You will also need to include your contact details and Player ID when submitting your designs so that we are able to contact you in case you win. The hat designs can be designed and submitted for the following birds:
- Red
- Bomb
- Blues
- Terence
- Matilda
- Stella
- Leonard
- Melody
All formats are accepted when submitted through the link above (drawing, digital art, sketches, etc.). There is no limit to how many designs you can submit, but each must be unique and created by you. The submissions must be made during the Campaign Period as stated above.
Selecting Winners and Communication
After the submission period ends, we will select two semifinalists for each bird hat. Semifinalists will be selected based on creativity, theme relevance, and overall aesthetic appeal of their designs from all eligible entries.
Players will then have the opportunity to vote for their favourite designs on the official Rovio Discord Server. Having a valid Discord account and being a member of our Discord server is required to participate in the voting process.
Winners will be chosen based on the public votes. The designs with the highest total votes will be declared the winners and your chances of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries and results of the vote.
We will notify all semifinalists via email and Piggy Mail in the Angry Birds 2 game once they have been selected. All final winners will be contacted the same way once the contest ends.
If we have reason to suspect a fraudulent entry or other breach of these rules by a participant (e.g. entries made by automated or otherwise deceptive means), we reserve the right to reject such fraudulent participation. If we are unable to contact a winner within 15 days, we reserve the right to choose a new winner.
Shipping and Taxes
We will send the prizes to winners as soon as is practicable after the campaign has ended. Rovio will pay for the necessary shipping costs, if any. You are responsible for any customs and tax consequences related to your receipt of a prize.
Your Warranties Regarding Campaign Material
By entering the campaign, you warrant that you have created the material you submit to participate in the campaign (“Campaign Material”). You understand and agree that you cannot submit Campaign Material created by others or which include the property of a third party (e.g. famous movie quotes or third party trademarks). You warrant and represent that you own all rights to your Campaign Material and that the Campaign Material does not infringe the law or the rights of third parties (including intellectual property rights and rights of publicity and privacy).
Our Use of Your Campaign Material, Likeness, and Personal Data
By participating in the campaign and by posting the Campaign Material, you agree to give Rovio, without compensation, the right of use to your Campaign Material in connection with Rovio’s business (including for marketing purposes, integration with Rovio’s services and products and as further detailed in our Terms of Service). This right is sublicensable, transferable, perpetual, includes all media, and cannot later be revoked by you.
Except where prohibited by law, you are also granting Rovio a sublicensable and transferable right to publish your name and likeness (including your profile image) in any media in perpetuity for advertising, publicity, and operation/administration purposes. Rovio may further process your personal data to execute the campaign and to award the prizes. Limitation of Liability
Rovio is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury caused or claimed to have been caused by any participant taking part in this campaign. Rovio’s total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the prizes.
Disputes
Unless otherwise provided in mandatory legislation, all disputes between you and Rovio shall be governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Rovio must be finally resolved by a court located in Espoo, Finland.
This campaign is not connected to or sponsored by any social media platform (e.g. Meta). However, in addition to these rules, you also commit to following the terms and conditions of the relevant social media platform when participating in this campaign.
Changes to the Campaign
We may need to make changes to the campaign (e.g. to ensure regulatory compliance), which is why we reserve the right to change these Rules when needed. If we make changes to the campaign, its prizes, dates, availability, or other significant aspects of it, we will announce these changes through the campaign marketing channels.
